Geotechnical Engineering is a field of expertise within Hacent Consultant with a dedicated team of engineers. We specialise in many aspects of this field in particular slope stability, remedial works, and soft ground treatments. Our skills enable us to combine our knowledge and geotechnical engineering software to come up with appropriate solutions.

We are knowledgeable in reinforced earth walls, crib walls, key stone walls, gunite or shotcrete walls, soil nails, PVD methods, preloading, stone columns, and pile embankments. Working together with our structural team, we regularly review and complete value engineering on many projects.

Our design experience enables us to consult on retaining walls greater than 6m high. Also, as mentioned, we regularly look at and advise alternative solutions for soft ground treatment and our solutions are more than one dimensional.
